Group
members have a wide variety of experiences ranging from giving hands-on
care in their homes, to caring for family and friends in nursing homes,
to providing long-distance care to family or friends living miles away.
Each situation has its own set of challenges and requires its own unique
approach.
All
information shared in the group is confidential. Often caregivers
find renewed strength in being able to talk with others who have had similar
experiences.
Participants
come for an informal time of sharing, support and nurturing. There is
no preparation needed and no long-term commitment is required.
Informal
meetings take place on the second Saturday of each month 8:0010:00
am around continental breakfast and new participants are always welcome
to just drop in.
