Michael and Michele Berg                              

Mike and Michele live in Willowbrook, and they have two children:  Ava, age 2, and Reece, 7 months old.  Mike is in real estate and Michele is a registered nurse at Rush University Medical Center.  Mike enjoys sports, the outdoors and writing.  Michele’s interests include camping, walking, yoga, travel and hiking.  Mike is a former member of United Lutheran Church in Oak Park and Michele comes from First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Bedford, Indiana.

Their sponsors are Rich and Danielle Tuck.

Brian and Janelle Bunn                       
           
Brian and Janelle live in Darien, and they have a daughter Payton who was born on Feb. 18th.  Brian grew up in Union Church and was confirmed here, participated in youth group and work tours.  Janelle is from Bloomington, Minn., where she was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church.  Janelle and Brian were married in 2007.  Janelle is a cosmetologist as well as a mom, and Brian is an options broker with Panorama Brokerage downtown and a dad.  Brian is a runner and Janelle enjoys athletic activities and creative projects. 

Their sponsor is Eleanor Patterson.

Oana Gabriel

Oana lives in Willowbrook with her children Brendon (3rd grade), Sera (1st grade) and Adam (age 5).  The children were baptized at our 9 a.m. service this morning.  Oana is a graduate of Northern Illinois University and worked as a teacher at Four Winds Waldorf School, where her children are students.  Oana’s interests are children, parenting, nature, exercise, and growth and development of people at all ages.

They have been attending our church for two years, and Oana’s sponsor is Jill Barker.
